Structural Hard Landscaping
Hard landscaping forms the framework of every garden renovation. This includes excavation, groundwork and drainage preparation before any visible surface is installed.
Our work ranges from reclaimed york stone and porcelain paving through to indian sandstone and brick herringbone pathways, composite or timber decking and a range of bespoke fencing. Where projects require more structural change, we also construct retaining walls, level adjustments and stepped access to reshape the space properly.
For clients looking to elevate the design further, we incorporate features such as outdoor kitchens, integrated seating, pergolas, outdoor lighting and water features, ensuring each element is built into the structure rather than added as an afterthought.
Preparation beneath the surface is as important as the finish above it.
Soft Landscaping & Planting Integration
Soft landscaping defines how a garden evolves once the structural framework is complete.
We install everything from traditional lawn turf to wildflower turf, depending on how the space is intended to be used. Planting schemes are developed with purpose — whether that means layered shrubs for privacy, feature trees for scale, or structured beds that frame paving and seating areas.
Climbing plants are often used to soften vertical elements such as fencing and pergolas. Evergreen climbers provide year-round structure and screening, while clematis and other flowering varieties introduce seasonal interest and colour. Subtle detailing, such as creeping thyme between granite cobbles or planting that softens retaining walls, ensures built features feel grounded within the garden rather than exposed.
Plant selection is guided by aspect, soil conditions and long-term maintenance expectations, allowing the garden to mature naturally over time.
